Streek Project Permissions: Defaults for SIS

Overview

The following permission grants should be largely self-explanatory. A few points of clarification follow:

  • This is an example of SIS project permissions. The project in the example is called "breez"; to transpose the example to another project, substitute the other project's name for "breez" in the charts below. Permission grants to groups other than breez-* are applied by default to all SIS projects.
  • The sis-project-browsers group are the SIS director and her direct reports.
  • The streek-mentors group is the SIS Chief Technology Architect and his direct report.
  • Project leads (breez-leads in this example) are assigned membership in the corresponding developers group as well (breez-developers in this example); persons assigned to the project leads role thus have both leads' and developers' permissions.
